I have decided that when I buy a new bike I want an old Bonneville and I want it to end up looking like this one. I think this one was owned by someone in Devon and I'm still pissed that I missed out when it was sold last year.

I quite like the idea of it also being the last bike I buy.

It may well be the last bike you buy, especially if you rely on a twin leading shoe front stopper:eek:

Anyway that one looks shite with that carlos fandango back wheel!:barf

Oh I like that rear wheel and I think the drum front always looks good, agreed maybe not the best for actually stopping though.

Nice bike though, I especially like those exhausts for some reason..

Yeah they look really nice, I don't know what make they are.

After a few enquires it would appear the bike now lives in Dawlish and the owner has no intention of selling at the moment.

That one has the comical hubs so probably will be...

This is the one to have Trippy. Les Harris T140. Brembo brakes, italian suspension, lovely engines as well.

I used to watch them being built up, in a small industrial unit at Decoy as a 20something growing up in Newton Abbot

Pity as youngster we were only interested in Jap stuff, we didn't realise what he was trying to achieve

Les did give it a good shot

I still like the look of the one I posted better and being rather shallow, looks do count for alot when buying a bike. I need to be able to sit outside a cafe somewhere and admire it from over the road, turn back for a look whilst walking away from it or just sit and look at it at home.
