Boranni Valuation ?

I've just cut this out of the other duplicate thread as it's more appropriate here:

Well, you learn something new every day - surely there are enough old(ish) Italian bikes rattling around that the wheels aren't that rare yet :nenau

It seems not ..

Gutsi bits are looking for £800GBP,s for a set

I turned down a pair at £300 a few years back. Really wanted them too.

They are rare. You need to watch out the rims aren't rotted out inside.

£250-300 is fair. I picked the last set up via eBay.de. A chap was breaking a V1000 and i bought the rims, nos brembo rotors, dizzy, seat base and side panels.

The shipping was not much more than within UK.

The issue is making bank payment in €, there are fees at both ends - germans have not embraced paypal in the way we have.

Some older Japanese rims are now getting to silly money. The replacement profiles are not quite the same and the originals evaporated like tinfoil in a bonfire.
