I've always wanted an R1150GS Adventure (in Silver), and recently I finally got
my hands on one. Its been a strange experience from the off. Its the first bike I
have ever ridden that required me to Google how to turn the indicators off
My other bikes a CBR1100XX, and recent bikes have included the ZZR1400,
Tiger 1050 and an old FZR1000Exup among others. Although I like the look of the
R1200GS Adv, I always preferred the look of the 1150. Now that I have the 1150,
I am already formulating a list of farkles, such as ditching the Cat for a Y piece,
and also removing the Servo. But before any of that I need to suss out how to get
a top box mounted on the beast. I've got a Touratech Zega 50L Topbox, but apparently
there isn't a fixing kit available to fit that on an Adventure. Haven't had much luck either
in finding a Givi plate for his bike either. Seen as most of my questions on Google
direct me here I thought it time to join up and say hi to you all.
