I've beeen asked by a couple of people for my rcommendation for batteries in the SPIII.
Uniross 1700Mah batteries x4 and charger
Uniross 1700Mah batteries x4
These batteries are 1700MaH and will drive the unit for as long as a set of Duracell Ultra's (about 3-4 Hours). Being high capacity NiMh, they take about 8 hours to charge per set of four, so it's worth investing in an extra set of batteries which can be charged while using the other set.
4 batteries and charger - £20
2x 4 batteries - £20
Sounds expensive but it's a good investment if you use the unit without external power.
You may be able to find the same batteries at Jessops, Maplins and other High Street outlets but Karas Online seemed to offer the best prices at the time I bought mine
