V1000 / G5 / Convert Seat Cover

For 3 years, I have been pursuing a perfect replica cover for my Convert seat - they don't exist.

I have spoken with all of the UK seat specialists, and only one could come close to what I needed.

The original Guzzi twin saddles from late '70's have twin seams heat-welded into the cover, and a heavy gusset around the beak where it meets the tank.

This main panel has been custom made to reproduce the heat seams, and the cover is a repro of an original Convert seat which I supplied.

I am not sure that it would stand up concourse judging, but is an excellent repro, and the best I can source from a UK supplier.








Is there any interest in a group-buy - the price would be around £35 if I can get an order of 6 or more covers.

Hi - Happy New Year - did you ever get any takers on this? I have just retrieved my V1000 G5 from long term storage and she is need of a new seat cover!

Alas, no - I had three covers made, at considerable expense due to the small batch size.

I have one spare if you are interested.
