VFR800 sat nav mounting info

Hi guys, my mate & I are going touring, he has a vfr800 on a 2003 plate, it's one of the first vtec s I believe..

I'm after info where to mount the sat nav bracketry, or if anyone has suitable mounting kicking around let me know please..

I have a few ram mount bits but nothing suitable..

All help appreciated.. :beerjug:
 
I had an FiW rather than a VTec but I think the same applies. If you take a RAM U bolt handlebar mount - RAM-B-231Z and remove the U bolt, the remaining bracket fits onto the two bolts which secure the front of the fuel tank. ISTR that you need to use slightly longer bolts than the original ones.
