Pannier ideas for sertao

Hi

I have an R1200GSA and a G650GS Sertao and I am thinking about a pannier set up for the Sertao. They wouldn't be used much as I would normally be using the GSA with the BMW aluminium panniers if I need to carry stuff. However I would like the option to carry stuff on the Sertao and wondered if anyone had any thoughts about whether it would be possible to adapt a rack *to hold the GSA panniers on a Sertao?

I realise it would be ugly and have a randomly placed exhaust cut out, but it would save buying and storing another set of panniers!

Are you going off road with the panniers?

If not, Varios can be acquired cheaply enough. If you are, I'd consider soft bags and a secondhand pannier rack (keep ya peepers open and you'll find a rack fairly easily).
Had TT panniers on my Dakar in the end, but only because I acquired them for the right money

What about just using a topbox?
