Hi , this is my first post !!! I've bought a w reg f650gs ..20k two owners ... Once bought it broke down on the motorway .. Managed to get it vanned home .. Looked at a few forums nd replaced the coil nd ht lead ... The bike started first time 
.. Once at full engine temp it stopped nd wouldn't start ?? Placed on charge ... Then again started firt time ?.. Stopped nd wouldn't start .. Noticed a crack on starter motor / replaced at cost of £90.. Started 1 st time .. Stopped nd wouldn't start ... More research nd further starter .. Sheared the starter drive mechanism ?? .. More research !! Sprag starter clutch ? .. Replaced .. Now the bike is ready to go .. Am awaiting the alternator gasket .. Is there anything else I could be doing ???? Oh .. I've also. Changed the ignition pick up coil too ... With another new starter motor I hope the issues will be resolved ?? I have loads of photos .. But am brand new to the gser site ..
