2. To finally do the trip along the Amber route that I have wanted to do for the last 3 years.

3. To I can as enjoy the company of as many Tossers as often as I can......
:D

Alps or the Pyrenees......as long as it's mountainous-that'll do for me:D

Gutted at missing the start of this year's Dakar-going in 05:rolleyes:

I've put my name down for Lahinch-Ireland that'll be a first for me,and SWMBO is rumoured to be joining me:rolleyes:

Would like to take in a European round of Moto GP (Italy/Spain or Czech) ,not sure whether to ride or fly..............

Oh and there's the small matter of the family holiday-which I'm advised will be Florida:eek:

Best start saving now;)

Happy New Year to you and yours-travel safe:beerjug:

Scotland for me to Western Highlands, also Ireland.

Also want to get abroad, thinking about doing the Stella Alpine.

Do I see combined trip of the WELSH Posse coming on, something to discus at the next meet at Abercraf maybe.

Moto-GP in Jerez as a fly drive this time. Melle with Flash in June, and looking at Silk Road to China by train in September. Hopefully plenty of biking w/e's in between.

Ride to scotalnd

In October this year I'm traveling to India to take part in a sponsored ride upto the border with Pakistan then into the foothills of the Himalayas. I've never done any long haul rides, infact I've probably never covered more than 100 miles in a days riding! As such I'm keen to get some experience of touring under my belt and would like to take a trip in the first quarter of the year (upto a max of 7days duration).

I'm also Cardiff based and have been thinking of a ride upto Scotalnd. When are you thinking of going? Maybe we could arrange a trip for the welsh contingent

Perhaps you can let me know via this forum or contact me by e-mail ay jasonlovey@hotmail.com

Happy New Year to you all.

Look up Flash Holidays in travel section. Great escorted rides in France! Also the BMW off road course may be helpfull if you've not done any off roading.

See you at Abercrave all being well.

which route are you planning Dennis??

Havn't Finalised yet Gerry, but it's looking like Harwich - Hamburg Gdansk - Up coast to Palanga in Lithuania, Double back through Kaliningrad for the Amber Museum then drop down to Malbork following the route down through Poland - Biskupin - Poznan - Wroclaw - Klodzko - Olomouc - Asparn - Bratislava - Soprpon - Ptuj - Celje - Llubijana - Trieste. Then back through Switzerland - France.

Also hoping for time for a side trip to Auschwitz if time permits.

Waiting on reply from Russian Embassy with regard to Visas and licence to use GPS in Russsia

I've just booked my ferry tickets for the Dutch GP in Assen.

Great event, fantastic atmosphere;) I went with a group of mates 2 years ago,(not going this year-but maybe next year) we stayed in Gronningen and used public transport to get to and from the circuit during practice and race day-highly recommended:D
I'm no fan of public transport but it's nothing like U.K. public transport over there, buses and trains are on time, clean, not overcrowded and cheap:eek: We caught a shuttle bus from the train station which took us to Assen circuit entrance gate, and the shuttle bus was given priority over all other traffic. Which meant that we didn't have to queue to get in or out, didn't have to walk around (there was intermittent sunshine ) in bike gear, best of all we could have a beer during the day

enjoy:D
