I am retired and live in France, well I do the odd job and the last one involved some time in Sarajevo. I went by air but the countryside seems fabulous.
I am toying with the idea of going out there on my bike R1200GSA. The route would be from here, near Paris down to Trieste and then down the Adriatic coast turn left to Mostar and then to Sarajevo and back via Belgrade possibly Bucharest Munich and then back home.
I am quite happy to go it alone but if anybody is interested it could be a bit of fun. Nothing is planned and I cannot leave before the second half of Sept. If you're interested drop me an Email and phone number and I will get back to you.
