Hi
Can anyone help me understand how to enter GPS coordinates in my Garmin.
50.11875,3.47757
49.354376,3.6591781
47.187065,3.8429811

I have the following coordinates, but none match my screen.

The Garmin screen starts with 2 letter and 5 digits on the first line, then 3 letters and 5 digits on the second line.

Thanks

Jon

A quick dirty fix is to put them in google maps to see where they are & then find the location on your Zumo by browsing the map & then sticking your own waypoint in.

I think google maps will also give you the lat/long coordinates, which is what your Zumo is currently asking for.

Sticking your own waypoint in will be quicker at the moment.....

When you enter the destination as co-ordinates you can change the Format (with the Format button!)...at least on the Zumo 660. Looks like yours are set on British Grid...which may not work too well in France.

You can certainly change the waypoint format to that required on Mapsource...Edit/Preferences/Position and then enter the co-ordinates in the format you have and transfer to unit...this looks like a nice trip through Troyes?

Google lat and longitude markers are disappearing from there maps suite soon. I had a warning about that whilst away. As for the co ords, use either or format and select correct data. If theres an N in the column it makes sense to use the same data starting with an N. ? help?
