2610 Erase way points and maps

I realise you can delete WP's one at a time on the unit, and maps get overwritten with each upload but.....

I can't find a way to clear all WP's in one go.

Regarding maps the only option to erase seems to be by putting the CF in another device and deleting or formating from the PC?

the only "reset" I cna find is for the unit's defaults - routing preference, presentation, units of measurement etc, but not and "erase"

Any ideas?

From memory

Open the waypoints page, press menu, it asks you what you want to do, click delete all waypoints, and it'll ask you if you want to delete those in routes (if you have any).

Don't know about the maps, sorry.

Dunno if this helps, but on the Streetpilot 3 you can delete all waypoints by doing:

Find button

Select "Waypoints"

Menu button

Select "Delete all"
