Help,
Went trail riding today, was like skiing, the standard tyres are really not up to mud!
Got half way up a hill and stayed there!
What knobbly' should you good people recommend?
Thank you
Not to worried about front as only ride slow.:)

tkc if you want something with reasonable road manners, but they are a bit crap in really muddy conditions.
mitas do the stoneking in a 17" c09 .
it is the 19" front that is the problem, again a tkc is about as aggressive as you will get

I'm having the Michelin Anakee II

Mostly i'm on the road (sometimes some Trails or semi muddy roads).

I started with the Metzeler Tourance but my experience with the Anakee's is much better on wet roads (rainy day's => what's very comon in Belgium)

I use the Dunlop trailmax TR 91 on/off road tyres. Nice block tried for good mileage on the road with good enough manners off road on trails or gravel. I not a mud plugger so there good enough for me.

Cheers Dave.
