The Ultimate Test Ride

This is interesting, re the ABS:
"The onboard computer quickly picks up the millisecond from the lever grab to the first instant the front slips - then cleverly the bike allocates the rear brake at a higher percentage than the front. rendering the front wheel washout impossible. Truly AMAZING !!!"

Talking of long tests I checked out Nick Saunders bike at the show, he was milling around so I asked if it is still in use, apparently now at 95K, he just said "great bike" and seemed unwilling to get into a discussion about what maintenance / parts it had got through - although possibly very few with the way he just rides bikes.

His bike was unwashed, but still looked in pretty good condition considering mileage and use.

New S10 looks identical unless inspected quite closely

I've chatted with Nick at length about his S10, it's stock apart from the panniers (no surprise there then), nothing clever about it, even still has the busted hand guard from his first long trip and the stock seat....
Heading up to the NEC on Wed and gonna eye ball the new S10....
