An honest review of the Triumph Bonneville

Nice review

I've not looked at many but 'trumps' fuel injectors look a lot like carbs??

So I guess he didn't like the engine bracket :D

Very good review. Nice to have a decent honest opinion.

Having owned a T100 for two years and recently sold it I would tend to agree with most of his comments, except I would add that I think it looks horrible with the 17 inch cast front wheel and better with wire wheels. It was a good reliable bike and I enjoyed riding it, but it does need suspension and silencers changing to get towards having any character.

I took one out during the Triumph test day at Bridge Motorcycles in Exeter this summer.

I was really surprised - by the time that I hit the four lane section at the bottom of Holden Hill on the M5, with my fully grown daughter on the back, I hadn't felt so vulnerable in traffic since my Yamaha RS100 days in the very early '80's! I found it serious scary!!

Great review of a naff bike, perhaps someone like MCN should take him on, they would gain some customers, made me laugh. :thumb2

What an excellent and entertaining report, you should be doing this for a living.
