Hi,

Email GoosePilot (peter "at" tourbikebits.com) he is back in CapeTown now and know all the local hire places. Sure he will help.

The list on here surprised me https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=capetown+motorcycle+hire&oq=capetown+motorcycle+hire&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l5.11896j0j7&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=91&ie=UTF-8 Indeed, how would you choose?

I would strongly recommend speaking to Jurgen www.karoo-biking.de

We hired a 1200 GS from home for two weeks; top organisation, great kit.......and the best holiday we ever had

Hope this helps

I did

1200GS, gourmet tour up garden route and back through Mid Karoo ( I did self guide but to these hotels)

Absolutely excellent - fantastic food, fantastic scenery and great biking.

Don't beleive the negative hype - SA is out there for you and at 18-19 ZAR to the pound it's a gift.

Hi Charlie,

I live in SA and work for a BMW Motorrad dealer. However, we're in Jozi and not Cape Town.

Our dealer has sold a fair few bikes to the guys at http://www.gsafrica.com/

Maybe give them a shout, I hear they're very good.

If you need any further help, just let me know.

Cheers,

Alex :tarka

We toured SA a few years ago with Karoo, Jurgen the German organised the bike hire. Fabulous tour and country.
