Being Yorkshire and tight didnt want to fork out for a real Touratech splash guard for rear registration plate. SO bought 99p
black plastic tray for paint roller, trimmed reservior end to copy real item, used wifes hairdryer to ammend to the correct angle to fit behind plate, stuck on touratech sticker and voila proffesional finish. it secures using original reg plate screws, weighs nothing and will not corrode.
 
Made mine from 4mm Dural plate.
As I had the labeller at home, I also made up the makers label...

Made one out of two black plastic numberplate frames...
Used a candle to shape the second frame into the right angle
and burn my fingers. Next time I'll try the hairdryer (to shape the plastic)

Didn't bother to put a Touratech sticker on it... they cost money...
 
I made mine out of a piece of 1.6mm NS4 aluminium, laser cut to size, them CNC folded to the correct angle, and then powder coated black. Cost to me, nothing at all. Don't you all hate a smart arse, and I'm not putting a touracrap sticker on it either.:D
 
Why did you all bother? The Touratech jobbie doesn't work anyway!!
