2002 California 1100 Stone question

Hi gang - can anyone on here please clarify for me - the silencer brackets fitment on LHS and RHS.

On my bike, the LH silencer bracket is fitted on the outside of the cast ali footrest/pannier frame bracket, presumably so
the bracket nuts clear the swing arm.

On the RHS, where is a lot more clearance, the silencer bracket is fitted on the inside of the cast bracket - which makes the
silencers look pissed from above!!

Are mine correct as fitted, anyone?

Thanks for that - was concerned the bracket bolts would be too near the swingarm - obviously not.
