Main Beam

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how difficult a job it is / what's involved in adjusting the alignment of the main beam on an 1150? Mine points wildly (no hooting or clapping, though) off to the right. So much so that it illuminates the oncoming carriageway (well, as much as the narrow beam can  ). I'm told that it's a big job that requires taking the whole unit apart. Big on scare, small on detail there. If anyone could fill in the rather large blanks, I'd appreciate it.

Cheers,

G

Two small phillips screws accessible from the front panel control the vertical and horizontal adjustment. No need to dismantle anything.

Check that the h/light adjusters are seated into the ball/socket slots. The adjuster rods have a ball on the end which fits into a socket, to allow the movement required. One of mine came adrift & no amount of adjusting was doing any good until I noticed this. Try moving the lamp in its mount & if it feels loose, clip it back together.

Cheers gents! :beerjug:

Something tells me I should've read the manual....
