Is there a hidden connector for GPS connection . . .

. . . like the GS had under the tank for a quick connection for a Zumo.

I know I can run a cable back to the battery but I have a connector cable and would like to know before I start pulling things apart.

The fact that Hornig supply the cable for this would suggest that there's not one fitted from the factory - http://www.motorcycleparts-hornig.c...unication/Cable-for-extra-device-GPS-12V.html

Mine had a connector on the right hand side just inside the tank recess. I had to get a lead from BMW to connect the plug to my Zumo but otherwise plug and play. You,ll find the plug on the loom has a cap cover on it to help you identify it and it's quite small.

Yes, at least on the 2007 model there is. As Paul advises above.
