I have been reading a lot lately on the performance advantages in using 97 grade octane fuel. It seems to apply to most modern motorbikes.
What do you tossers think?
Worth the extra pennies?

Surely if you've been reading a lot about the advantages of using it, you're already beyond the stage to try it yourself and make you're own decisions

On my previous GS it made 4 to 5 mpg difference, you decide.

It only makes a difference if your motor has an anti-knock sensor and the ECU can map the ignition to take full advantage of the fuel.

You are correct, but My last 3 bikes have had knock sensors and I still can't tell the difference.
