If the maps are held on SD cards on both units and the routes are held on the SD card of unit A how easy/ hard is it to xfer the routes from unit A to unit B?

I would. But one's in Lincoln the other is in Manchester. 
I knew you'd done a V to V xfer and IIRC found it easy enough. I just wondered if the added complications might make it more, errm, complicated?

I'll have my laptop with me as well so if it does go t1ts up we'll just do it the old fashioned way!!
