I am hopefully going up to the lake district from the humber bridge on Sunday 5th with a mate on a tiger 800xc, we will be stopping at the manor cfe near leyburn on the way up and spending the day doing the passes (Honister, wrynose, hardknott etc), I have also found a byway near keswick which is about 5 miles long (we dont want anything too scary!). If people want to meet then they are welcome or if you have any other intersting roads to recommend and we will check out. Only there for the day. Cheers
