Im planning a ride out to the NMA in the next few days, and was wondering if its a full day experience, or would half a day be about right? Also, is the parking is reasonably secure for motorbikes, and are there any decent cafes in the area?

Cheers

It depends how much you want to see. It's a big site with a lot of walking if you want to see all the memorials, see the website http://www.thenma.org.uk/

Good idea to get there before 11 of clock and catch the, very short, daily service and last post in the chapel. Followed by a short introduction to the site.

There is a cafe/restraunt on site.

Parking for bikes is free and should be secure as it's outside the entrance with plenty people about. But don't take my word for that.

The food in the on site restaurant is very good.
You can spend at least half a day there, possibly more now it's expanding all the time.
Enjoy your visit.

Well worth factoring in a full day. Good wholesome food on site. Parking is not an issue. Enjoy the experience. :thumb2

It is possible to have various guided tours as well for just a few quid. Entrance is free but they do suggest a donation of £5 to help maintain and run the place, well worth it.;)
