Not showing petrol stations

My garmin zumo 590 isnt showing petrol stations or anything else when i tap the map screen and search for any of the options that come up when i tap the question mark.
If i tap on the where to icon on the home page it shows all petrol stations etc...................am i doing something wrong?
I have watched videos on utube and im definately doing my search correctly............do i have to activate something?

I stand corrected.................you have to double tap the icon in the search box for the item your looking for to be shown....................doh
