For anyone thinking of the Remus cans for their F650GS (they're excellent by the way), be advised that you will need to join a gym and take daily weight lifting classes in order to fit and especially to remove the standard BMW panniers. WD40 supplements as well as a solid garage door (so the wife and neighbours can't hear you repeatedly shouting "FECK") are advised.

very clean jeremy.
Hope your number plate doesnt get cloned:eek:
did you put any kind of heatshield or pads on the cases?

No. The standard shields from the original pipes fits the Remus pipes. The email was in reponse to a query re fitment on Trevors site. Had one of those "Suddenly the evening went down hill" moments when I read about someone elses difficulties. Thank fully I had beef for dinner so had the strength to remove the cases. Have yet to ride with them attached so don't know if my boxer shorts will end up being rare or well done.

All sorted by Darren @ Vines. Quick fiddle with the pannier frames and Bob's your uncle. Plenty of clearance and no heat problems.
