Could anyone give me an real idiots rundown on costs v facilities,

I just been out in a mates motor this thing rose out of the dash and proceeded to guide us to Burpingham and back even after taking the wrong roads - brill.

Does a Garminging thingy do this? I'd like one for the GS and also to use in the other thing with four wheels when its cold (whoops).

There is no running cost involved in a GPS (so far!!). Just buy one, read the instructions (no difficult) and start saving petrol and time.
That simple. Plenty of experts around to give you advice.
How much for on of those toys? Sky is the limit. Look at the BB for views on differents models.

To do the thing U want it to, you'll need a unit with "Auto-routing" capability.
