Mountain passes,where is the best concentration

I have this supermoto bug really bad,so much so that I am seriously thinking about leaving my 1150gs at home and trailering mine and a mates motards down to the alps.But we need somewhere to make a camping base for seven days,so if anyone knows a decent campsite and lots passes within easy reach I would like to know.Cheers Andy

Andermatt is a great base for passes, right in the middle of the best ones. I have no experience of camp sites as we stayed in Luzern which was a big mistake, but a quick google reveals candidates near Andermatt.

Only drawback would be that if the weather is bad (as it was last August with us), there's higher chance of rainfall high up in Andermatt.

Nah,Done Andrematt the last two years running,great passes,but not enough for a week to do there,and it would be very expesive to live from that vastly over priced super market in the main high street for a week. Cheers
