Nav 5 Help please

Having issue with Nav 5.
Downloaded music files in MP3 format MP3 player working but cant hear music.
It is connected to a Midland BT Next head set, Sat Nav works fine but no music. Any Ideas

Have you checked the volume mixer settings? Main menu page click volume, then the three lines menu and choose volume mixer. In there you can set separate volumes for phone, navigation and music. Exact names of menu options may be slightly different as working from memory

Thanks I have checked that volume at full still no joy.

You definitely checked the media volume within the mixer settings (with the three slider bars labelled navigation, phone and media) and not just the overall volume?

The only other thing I can think of is my Sena headset has separate volumes for each type of audio. If I turn the volume up on the headset while music is playing it won't alter the navigation volume etc. Maybe your headset works similar?

If it's not either of those two things then I'm out of ideas.

Yes thanks all three sliders checked. Tried reconnection and numerous other things still no joy will try again tomorrow.

Sorted if anyone else has this issue make sure Firmware on headset is upto date.
