Just endured 47 minutes on an 0844 number to my car insurance company informing them of a no-fault claim from me. First claim for over 20 years too.
Passed on to an 'assistance' firm who then put you onto a credit agreement with the repairing garage - turns out the other party will cover all costs anyway but one long drawn-out palaver
Claim is against a postie in a marked Royal Mail van - ''what colour was the van that hit you sir?''
Shouldn't I have been notified at some point if the 0844 phone call was chargeable?
