So having almost camped outside the dealers i fatally got my mits on it I took it for a bible round lincolnshire And the reevsby road in particular to get the tyres properly scrubbed in. It has Pirelli Diablo and it seems that all the white ones do as opposed to the slower red ones which have battleax t30 evos

Any way my thoughts so far are pretty limited to
It really is fucking awesome in its performance and thats before it has had the 9K limiter taken off !

Road mode is a waste of time and i only managed 10 miles before engaging dynamic.

I am still smiling and a bit stuck for words as to how pleased i am with it so here are some crap pictures


Oh and as for the vibes yes they are there but not so bad as to be anything than faintly noticeable

Not a problem though, coz they're all marked with high-viz paint so everyone can see them!

I've seen better exhausts on a Scania Are you splashing out on some titanium?
 
The exhaust note is brilliant very addictive especially on the down changes with the quick shifter, I don't think it's a bad size or shape compared to some out there

Mine is white and it has the Bridgestone T30 on it, I was also very impressed with the performance during run in but jeez once the service is done and you have full power, it's an awesome bit of kit. I've now got 1000 miles on mine, and glad I made the choice of the XR.

Has anyone fitted adventure style luggage to one of these ?

Bikes good looking until the luggage goes on................ IMO.

I'm toying with fitted the topbox from my GSA, but it didn't go down too well on here!:beerjug::D

I have told her that it is 200 ccs smaller than the GS therefore obviously safer
