I have a classic Honda Trials bike from the 80's, that I have totally renovated, but also it has been slightly modified, with newer forks and rear shock. I am currently in the process of getting it road registered, but I wonder if anybody can tell me, can a classic bike be insured for the cost of the renovation, as this is significantly more than the original value of the bike. I have all the receipts for the work done.

If anybody has experience from this, I'd be most greatful for any information.
Many thanks. :thumby:

Not unusual for a classic bike. It's called 'agreed value insurance'.
Footman James do it....as do plenty of others.
