Some of you will remember me putting up a thread 6 months ago asking for advice as to which tent we should take on our world trip in 2003. Both the number of replies and quality of information received was fabulous. One of the reasons this BB is so great!
We've been lucky enough to secure sponsorship and support from "Taunton Leisure". These guys have 4 shops in the South-West and keep in stock a huge variety of outdoor clothing and equipment website here: http://www.tauntonleisure.co.uk
Well...Lisa and I picked up our new home/tent yesterday and both think it's bloody fantastic. We ended up ordering a "Keron 4 GT" made by a specialist manufacturer in Sweden called Hilleberg. You can see their site here:http://www.hilleberg.se
The tent is one of the most well thought out and put together we've seen. It's a 4 seasons, 4 person tent. The inner and outer goes up together, so no horrible wet tent if you have to put it up in snow or rain. Lisa and I put the thing up in under 3 minutes, just four poles and 4 pegs.
Anyway, thank you to everyone who responded to my earlier post your advice was really appreciated.
Have a great X-mass, see you all in 2003
Cheers
