How do I create a GPX file to e-mail to a mate

Am stumped....can someone tell me how to create a gpx file of a route I've created in basecamp......please!!!! :bow

File / Export Selected User Data

Format: GPX v1.1

I think but have had wine.

Drag the route with your mouse or copy & paste from BaseCamp to the desktop,right click & choose send to /share with email respondent. It will become an attachment. You could also simply drag it into a new email you've created.
