Activate GoPro from Nav V?

You can Bluetooth your phone and use it as a remote for GoPro hero 4. But that is a faff on the bike, whereby you have to have a phone mount etc etc.

I wondered if Nav V has the ability to operate GoPro? That way wherever you have the camera installed, your Nav V acts as a remote for turning the GoPro filming on and off?

Anyone know?

reasonably sure it will not control the go pro and i dont think it will control the garmin virb either , but do believe the VIRB supports the Zumo 390 and 590, hope this helps.

Garmin 590 does control the Virb Elite.

Does anyone now not want to use their Garmin just as a simple and reasonably reliable navigation and GPS device?

PS No, it won't deal with a Go-Pro whilst it runs the rest of your life as you hoon along. Sorry.
