Highest miles on an XR ( seems to be a trend so why not)

Seems all and sundrie want to know about other bods mileage on various bikes so why not the XR

I was a fairly early adopter of this awesome steed and have clocked up just under 12000

this may be low it may be high

It does not get used in the winter cos I is a pussy

just coming upto

18000 MLS the big service just been quoted 590£that includes new spark plugs and shim check extra if you have to have a shim changed plus the usual service things and fork oil change.

Got mine in Feb & only have just over 10000km (6000miles) mainly due to taking an off-road bike to Portugal for my 'main' holiday & a GSA to Spain for my autumn break. I did manage a 5 day weekend in Scotlandshire though. And I will be riding through the winter
