Yet Another Newbie

Hi Guys, joined this site about five months or so ago, thought i'd keep a low profile while I scoped it out but decided to subscribe and having a good read of late, thought I ought to introduce myself. Got myself a 14 plate GS LC from Rainbow back in March after 40 plus years since owning a bike, 62 yrs young and thought I'd get something small for starters!!. Hung it on the back of my motorhome in August and went to southern Germany which I have visited many times before, this time though had the GS so decided to take in some of Austria, tried the Grossglockner ...dropped the bike with the missus on the back twice whilst stood still!! but still managed, laugh about it now but it wasn't very funny at the time but it did make me more determined than ever to persevere and get the better of the bike which I feel much more at home with now. I didnt mention I had a new knee fitted last January and it didn't help trying to keep the GS upright with the wife on the back too.
Anyway guys ....go gentle ,this is a whole new world for me.
