F650 Replacement?

Has anyone a idea when the replacement of the current F650 line is going to come out? This generation came out in 2000, and it was an update from the Funduros of 1993.

I reckon the lightly facelifeted F650GS introduced last year will be around for a couple of years yet...

check out the f650 is no more, thread at the bottom of the f650 page , looks like it is being replaced with an all new paralel twin engine , supposedly due for release in 2006.

BMW is comming out with the T series, which is supposed to be a 750cc twin bike. They want to fill in the gap betwenn the 650 and the 1200 boxer's. I believe BMW will stick to the 650 concept, only they might have a new platform for it. The question is when this is going to happen.
