R100GS PD SideCar???

Hi all,

Has anybody got any sidecar links??

A friend of mine is interested in researching adding a sidecar to a R100GS PD.

It would have to be minimum fuss attachment and capable of carrying a child.

What about the Ural sidecars...could you get just the side car and bolt it on.

Know of any sidecar builders???

There are many links on these sites.
There are usually chairs for sale in the classified section on the FED site. or on e bay. Some of the chairs for sale have been attached to BMWs so the fittings may be available with them.

That pic shows a hedingham ETH. Based just around the corner from me - top company and one of the best outfit producers. Well worth a visit - Ron is a class act and rides an 1100GS outfit amongst others

Are you sure it was the same bike Paul and not just a similar one?

There was an 1150 in black with an identical model Hedingham chair attached.

But then again maybe it was a Pan-European?

I have a 92GSPD/Dnepr sidecar outfit and love it. I would think the Ural or Dnepr would be a better choice for a young one. But Unit by far is a better choice for serious off road.

ural sidecar

you can buy the side car as a spare part,ive been quoted a price by both of the companies that deal in ural parts in the uk.there was a big difference in price.then you need someone to fit it,id recommend charnwood classics,he could also build a custom chassis for what i thought was v.fair price.
