:D a simple enough question i thought.
couldn't think of a subject heading.

since getting my savanna goretex boots wet on the inside
(thanks to the encouragement of Fanum and Timolgra)
;) :D
When they are dried out they smell:blush
what is the best way to look after the goretex properties ,
buy some kind of a specialist cleaning solution?
thanks.

Hi colt,

If I were you I`d try some baby shampoo & scrub them out using a soft nail brush then rinse them out using plenty of clean water & air dry.

Febreeze maybe??

I haven't looked into the chemicals it contains but it would appear to be a pretty mild formula and I wouldn't have thought it'd hurt goretex.

Oh yeah, and I'd sue the bastids who made you ride into that river if I were you ;)

:D

Asda anti-bacterial worksurface spray (or whatever it's called) worked on mine (same Fanum/Ford problem :)

3 or 4 squirts in each boot and leave overnight.
