View Full Version : Garmin Virb - Anyone use a separate microphone
I've had the Virb for a fair few years now and just use it to record a fair bit of footage so that, once the memory has gone, I can look back and recall the trips I've done.
However despite fitting the rubber thingy and taping up the microphone hole the wind noise is still very annoying.
Just wondered if anyone had fitted an external microphone and if so what make, where did they source it from and (ahum) where did they put it. I'm not that bothered about it being in my (double ahum) helmet.
Many thanks

Has anyone found a supply of these adapters. Garmin have discontinues and I do not know of an alternative apart from the multi adapter for additional display.
Cheers

What a rip!
I can't understand why Garmin are not making these now. Maybe everyone uses Bluetooth but I find the quality really bad with mine i.e very thin on base and does not pickup the engine very well.
