With Garmisch approaching, and me P****d off that I coudnt make it this year, a few photos of my trip in 2004. I will def be there next year!
Setting off !
In Garmisch - at the top of the Zugspitze mountain (Germany's highest) which you reach by train and cablecar. The climbers behind are on a seperate summit and did the 10000 ft the hard way - completely mad! This is well worth a visit if the weather is ok.
At the top of Timmelsjoch, 8600 ft up. Another must do but allow at east 6 hours for the round trip which will take in Austria and Italy as well as Germany.
Sorry new to this picture thing so hope it works.
To everyone going this year ride safe and be assured - you will have a great time!
