sorry joe i would love to join you in a run to the lakes but going on holiday on saturday!. "trying to work out a way of taking the bike" ( there will be more room in the car you see.)

Joe, I might be available but not to meet at the LC as I live further North.

What is the planned route/destination/timing please? I had a quick look at other NW posts butcould see the details posted elsewhere. Maybe I missed them...

OK, thanks. I will do my best but I am travelling back from Inverness on Saturday night so a lot depends on what time I arrive home.

If I am not there by 10am, don't wait.

Cheers

Can't make it to the Lakes, too much to do, but might call and say hello and speed you on your way, if that's alright. I take it you mean the truckstop roundabout?

Whats the route you plan on taking? As a local I might be out & about myself :thumb PM me with details if you like :D

FINAL POST

Hi all

looks like at least 4 bikes will be meeting at Lymm Services ( The Truckstop ) outside Mc Donalds around 9.45am for a 10am ish depart.

Daz will be leaving home a bit later and chasing us all morning until he catches us up.

Not sure what the route is BUT should be exiting M6 at Jct 36 around 11am and then either heading to Bowness OR going to Newby Bridge and then trying to find some minor roads to take us to Nibthwaite and then follow the road that runs along the east side of Coniston. Not sure if will will try and do The Hardknott / Wrynose after that OR head east to Hawkshead and get the ferry acros Windermere.

If anybody wants to meet along the way ( say Jct 36 ) then you can text me on *7973 22654* . To get my full mobile number then add a zero at the front and also at the end of that number.

If you intend to meet us at Lymm then post here or text me before 9am Sunday.

Cheers,

Ian

PS If anybody has a spare 15A blade fuse could u bring it tomorrow and i'll buy you a drink. Aux socket fuse has blown tonight and i haven't got a spare so no Sat Nav.

Sorry guys, can't make it this time. 840 miles in a Mini this weekend have taken their toll.

Hope to see you next time.
