I'm trying to plan an off-roading weekend in Wales at the end of October, and I need some help from you guys. Got any recommendations on good B&B's that are preferably near good trails?

I'm sure there must be some of you willing to share your knowledge/experience. :helmet

Thanks for your help.

Hi Phil,

Which part of Wales are you thinking of visiting.

Rhyader has a few BnB's that are fairly central to many lanes.

Hiya Paul, how you doin'? - I have been in touch with the Lion Royal Hotel in Rhyader, do you know it? can you recommend it - or any other places?

at the mo' we've got around ten people showing interest in getting this together, if anyone living locally knows any routes and wants to join in and show us the way, then they're more than welcome. :clap

I can strongly recommend the Bikers Retreat (http://www.bikers-retreat.com) in Dolgellau.
It is geared especially for bikers and you couldn't ask for better hosts than Nigel and Tiv.
The accomodation is good, the food is excellent and the company is better.
Nigel organises regular tours of the best roads in Wales and is heavily into mountain biking so I dare say he knows a fair few tracks.
I have stayed there 3 times and I azm planning to go again next year.
