Ok I've decided to buy a street pilot 3 deluxe all singing all dancing. I have two options now...... buy at full retail price and have the back up of the retailer in setting it up and learning how to use it OR get it at trade price and learn on my own. Is it hard to use or set up and is the saving worth the lack of retailer back up ?

I learned how to use it at a basic level within an hour; I was comfortable with using it within a day and fully proficient after a week or so. Unless you get a faulty bit of kit, I wouldn't consider dealer back up a factor....

My mate's just bought a UK SPIII deluxe from a regular seller at Ebay for £850 - Brand new, sealed etc etc....

Yes, a complete bargain, registered it with Garmin last night.
Had a GPS master class with Mike O tonight, & still found my way home!
