Why would the charging light not come on when I switch on the ignition?
I've checked the bulb and it's good.
I've had the surgery top replace my knuckles!!.

Is it sumting simple and obvious?

I might have an answer to my own question.
I see down the page the reason for no idiot light ie. a f***ked rotor.

I'll test it tomorrow.

In the light of my own bitter experience, it's the rotor. In the meantime, keep the battery on charge and ride in the daylight only. You'll be good for about 80 miles at least.
Once you've replaced the rotor buy a spare, you'll need it.

The CHARGING light

I got de charging light fixed!
It wasn't de rotor or de diode board.
It was a bad connection in de spiders web!
