VW Sat Nav

Anyone out there have experience of VWs Sat Nav navigation system?
VW don't seem to have any experience with troubleshooting (expert? away for 2weeks so whole VW empire left in charge of 2 YTS trainees :eek

)
Problem is it's not picking up any GPS signal.
All connectors are present and am going to go over all connections in morn. Local ICE shop next to fcuking useless.(go to fcuking useless for all your useless needs- right next door to the ICE shop(also fcuking useless))
(is that enough use of brackets?)

Sat Nav Problem

Was this an original fitment that has stopped working or an after-fit that never worked?

If after-fit, what gps antenna are you using & where is it located.

By the look of the picture it's in a Passat Sport?

Ah sorry for misleading you there.
Factory fit 2002 VW Transporter Westfalia conversion so VW do the chassis and Westie do the rest of it next door and then they flog them in VW showrooms.

Here's ariel. Van had phone kit so could this be a GPS/GSM combined? Has 2 leads into it.

edit: roof could do with a clean!
