We are in the Ball room on the ground floor. Dinner at 2000hrs. I suggest meeting in the bar for a drink about – 1900-1930hrs.
Breakfast on Sunday from 0800 – 1030 am.
Book in to hotel from 1400 hrs on Saturday.
As the hotel is on a one-way street I suggest you arrive at the rear parking areas from the A49 Victoria St. via West St. and Aubrey St.
Parking – Secure free parking at rear of hotel on Aubrey St. locked by night porter at 2300 hrs. Limited space.
Pay and Display 100 metres down the road £5.50 for 24 hrs.
Pay and Display on West St. free after 1800 hrs.
Limited space in front of hotel on Broad St. short stay but free after 1800 hrs.
My recommendations for Lunch for those arriving in time on Sat –
Saxtys Bistro and Bar
The Imperial next to Saxtys
The Café @ All Saints Church – mostly vegetarian, also coffee and pastries.
Sit upstairs and see if you can spot the carving of a man showing his bare arse???
Many other cafes and restaurants in town.
Places to visit – The Cider Museum and Distillery (Dave will show you where it is!)
Hereford Cathedral and Medieval chained library and the first printed map of the world the Mappa Mundi.
