I see motobins sell a 'Keller' trickle battery charger that comes with a plug for the BMW access socket. Does anyone have one? are they any good? Are they as good as the (more expensive) Optimate?

Any answers much appreciated

Yes, I've had a Keller for 3 years now, does the job perfectly well. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Optimate but just plug it into the accessory socket and it gets on with it - at half the cost.

It's German so doesn't have a UK 3 pin plug but Motobins supply an adaptor. The adaptor/plug fit can be a bit wobbly but I've taped mine together and had no problems.

I have a Optimate works for me no problems
bradford motorcycles doing them
ask for discount

I was well pleased with my optimate....til it went tits up after 13 months..ho hum..bought another and bingo...the same thing happened...never again.
