Reliving bike trips whilst sat at my desk....
Any advice out there as to how and where I can set up a blog for me mates when the other half and I are meandering across Argentina and Chile. I like looking at these sorts of logs: its nice to read about peoples experiences, although ours is not the most exotic of the trips out there!

Any suggestions where to start? :thumb

There are many blogging sites, almost all straight forward web based agents. Blogger.com is the biggest. It means you can access it from any web cafe. It's easy to use, and easy to setup if you're using one of the stadnard templates. If you want something more fancy, you need HTML experience.

I use a very special tool, not easily available to the general public, though the tool is free, the hosting is not (IBM Domino). But the advantage of that is that I can prepare my stuff offline, and when I get to some internet access, I just upload. Also, the tool allows me to upload stories and photos via email. Handy when you've got a camera phone, take your piccies, write you story and send it via email.
